Jerry's guide for HD Beginners

Fight HD with the HDL Triad

Welcome! We have decided to try something new here at the HD Lighthouse

We noticed a problem with the current format. Many new people would find the Forum section, and post questions like, "Is there anything available right now that can slow down or reverse HD"? I would take a lot of time to respond to that person, and let them know the answer was a big "Yes" Then a few hours later I would check the Forum section, and see the same question being asked, by a different person. Nick, who produces the HDL, had an idea that might keep that information around longer. We've decided to create a new section called "Scott's Corner (Your Proactive Battle With HD)" These articles will originally appear as a new posting, then they will be saved on the Home page, similar to Phil Hardt's "Managing HD" section. The new section with contain an a small photo of me and the title "Scott's Corner (Your Proactive Battle With HD)" The most recent entries will be available by title.

Nick gave me a great idea for our first article. His mother is HD positive and has been having symptoms about 4 years now. She's taking a very proactive approach in dealing with her HD. She has a CAG count of 45 and actually spoke at a New Zealand conference a few weeks ago. The audience was amazed at her current good health, and her positive attitude in tackling her HD. I wanted to share with you a few of the things she's doing, that could benefit the rest of us. Read my article on Judy's proactive fight against HD
