HDL Update: Brain Scan shows HD Reversal

HD Reversed

Scott Midyett, "My brain has increased in size over the last year. The results were even better than I had hoped for."

I just got back from the Dr. who read my new CT Brain Scan. He had last year's scan to use as a comparison. He said the over all health and condition of my brain is much better now than it was a year ago.

He said last years scan showed a brain with a lot of fluid in the skull. He says that's a sign of a brain undergoing damage. Last year's scan showed very few folds on the surface, and those that were there had poor definition to them. That again is bad.

This years scan shows a lot more folds, and they had crisp sharply defined shapes to them. Then he compared the ventricle area. (the empty cavity in the center of the brain) This years was smaller, which is a very good thing. So my brain has increased in size over the last year.

The results were even better than I had hoped for. He says I'm obviously on the right track, and to continue doing what's working. He remembered my weak, shaky condition a year ago. He says my overall condition is much better than last year. He also said I'm the first HD patient he's seen who has improved over time.
