Call for Action!

Grassroots choice for HDSA CEO

Phillip J. Hardt,
MA, Educator, Speaker, Writer, and HD affected.

There are a few good advocates in the war against Huntington's disease. Many know that Phil Hardt is of the brightest and of the best. His rousing Call for Reform speech at the 2001 HDSA convention was a critical call for action. The HDSA has not acted. It is not enough to just say, "Great speech Phil", and then do nothing.

In my dreams of a better world I see the supremely qualified HD warrior Philip J. Hardt as CEO of the Huntington's Disease Society of America. I dream that Phil's Call For Reform is a reality. I dream of relief for the multitudes of HD affected that suffer from the lack of initiative and the deceptions of Barbara Boyle's HDSA.

If you love our precious Phds, you will take action to make it a better world. What will it take? A thousand e-mails to the board of directors? A standing mandate from the floor of the 2002 convention? If you make it happen, I will be proud to serve the new HDSA. -- Jerry 03-May-02
