Slide #21. Double blind phase 2 trial. The vertical axis is the UHDRS score. Zero is no impairment. HD patients on plecebo declined 11 units on the UHDRS. HD patients taking LAX-101 improved 4 units on the UHDRS from the start to end of the trial. Compaired to the plecebo they were improved by 15 units. Spectacular, considering that a UHDRS of 60 represents a moderately disabled patient.

Q. I was told that LAX 101 is available in Japan. Is this correct, and if so is it a prescribed drug, or could it be purchased over the counter. Thank you.

A. EPA is a prescription drug in Japan.

Q. The Lax 101 info is very encouraging. How long were the people taking the Lax drug? Is Lax just EPA (pure? vs fish oil -- how "pure" is fish oil?) or does it have other active ingredents?

A. LAX-101 is pure EPA.

Looking at the UHDRS Motor list there are about 31 catagories. If you got about one point in each catagory that would put you in the study group range. It would be interesting to see a graphs of the UHDRS catagory scores - before and after -- to see if any specfic areas improved or didn't improve.
